Hi! Cass Tyson here. That's me after being made ageless in Photoshop. You like?
I love the web, especially its ability to connect things you don't expect to be connected. I feel connected just being online, don't you?
I love communication, especially effective communication, because really, if it's not effective, it's not communicating! I was brought up by an English teacher, studied professional writing and publications design in college, and started one of the first web design companies in Baltimore, MD, in 1993. You could say I've done a little communicating in my day.
I love business, entrepreneurship, marketing, and sales. I've been in business since I was a teenager, when I mowed lawns in summer and shoveled snow in winter. (I also raked leaves in fall and planted gardens in spring, but mostly that was pro bono for my parents…ha!)
More than anything else, though, I love people. Truly above all else, I'm a people person. Maybe that's why I've been in sales and marketing my whole life. It's the best job in the world to be able to meet people, to socialize, to help others.
Combine a love of social interaction and service to others with a love of communication, marketing and business, add a high-speed internet connection and a web browser, and that's where you'll find Cass Tyson.
